Advisory Committee member Steve Pat, who introduced the motion, stated he was honored
to propose the acceptance of Massachusetts General Law Chapter 59, Section 5, Clause 22J. The adoption of this clause authorizes an automatic 10% annual increase in the exemption amount granted to eligible veterans, adjusting for inflation and rising costs of living.
